This is our entry to #PACColorChallenge, held by The Paper Artist Collective.

The brief of this challenge was to create a piece out of a single shade of paper and ours was created with Fabriano Elle Erre Terra Bruciata 220gsm paper and Excel Blades tools.

The idea for the piece came from the name of the paper, Terra Bruciata (scorched- earth), a military strategy that aims to destroy anything that might be useful to the enemy while they advance through or retreat from a location. Our goal was to build a piece that would allude to a cube taken from the burned ground where there had been a war.

Single piece.
Hand-cut paper piece.
All components cut and assembled by hand.
